Tornados, Snow, & A Trip to the Park

The weather here has been a little dramatic! There was a tornado watch warning for Davidson County on Wednesday and then it snowed yesterday! There is still snow on the ground. It's very chilly and cold now because there are no clouds and everything is freezing. The winds were so strong and wild on Wednesday there were warning for tornados. I do not believe any tornados actually touched down but the wind was damaging! There were tree limbs on the ground in the front yard, all of our garbage bins were knocked over, and our outside wall signs had been blown to the ground. Thankfully my power stayed on though, as most of Nashville's power went out!

I joined the Nashville Athletic Club and I have been going to the gym almost everyday to workout, use the sauna, and tan. It's been nice having somewhere to go other than work!

Today I put bluebell in the Jeep and we went down to the Centennial Park here in Nashville. There was a large pond with ducks and a model of the Greek Parthenon. The Parthenon is used as a museum I think. But Bluebell and I walked around the large pond and she tried chasing every squirrel we saw. She also wanted to kill all the ducks but I wouldn't let her even try to get in the water. :)

I'm off to bed now. It was a very long day at work because Carrie Underwood was playing on the Grand ole Opry next door to Dave & Busters so we were packed. I'll be back at it again tomorrow.
